At Sharman’s Therapy Centre, our counsellors are here to listen and help. People visit our Gold Coast counselling centre for many reasons.
A common issue that we see is anxiety. Everyone experiences anxiety from time to time. For some of us, this anxiety might grow or persist. We might find ourselves feeling constantly stressed or jumpy, or we might find ourselves stuck and unable to move past frequent thoughts of what could go wrong in life.
Anxiety is about the future. When we have anxiety issues, it means that we are focused on the future. Our thinking patterns might imagine that future as an unsafe or uncertain place.
Sometimes, when you are experiencing anxiety on an ongoing basis, it can be helpful to seek anxiety counselling. Counselling or psychotherapy might be able to help restore a sense of wholeness and peace.
When you see a counsellor at our centre, we will listen to your concerns. Together, we can develop insights, helping you to understand your anxiety, and yourself more generally. Under this gentle guidance, you’ll be in control of your therapy.
